Fundraising update!

Some of you have been asking, so I figured I should write a short blog outlining my fundraising needs and let you all know how it’s going so far! First things first, you guys ROCK!

My first goal of $3,500 has been met and EXCEEDED. Amazing.
I’ve only been officially fundraising now for a month and a half. God is GOOD!

My next goal is $6,500, due 2 weeks prior to the day I leave on The World Race!

Here’s the kicker, though.

While I’m not expected to raise all $15,500 of my funds until the end of 6 months on the Race…

…my goal is to be FULLY FUNDED by the time I leave.
(which is sometime around September 1st From

It’s a HUGE goal and one I don’t take lightly, but I’m absolutely 100% sure that by God’s grace and provision, your help, and some cool fundraisers, I can totally make my goal!

The one thing I absolutely need to say is THANK YOU for your giving, and THANK YOU for your plans to give. I can never truly express my heartfelt thanks to you…I COULD hug you over and over and over and keep saying thank you, thank you, thank you over and over and over…but eventually you’d get very annoyed with me and probably tell me to shut up – haha! So I will just have to resort to praying that God blesses you 100 times over for your giving to support me on the World Race!

I’m also really excited to unveil some prayer/support cards that are in the works! I have a rockstar photographer friend who did a mini photoshoot for me, and a rockstar graphic designer friend who is helping me with the prayer cards (she’s even designing a logo for me—it’s the real deal, y’all! :-P) So when those are finished I’ll be sure to hand you one and post a few photos here just for kicks and giggles 🙂

I would also really love to design a tshirt and some coffee mugs to sell and am currently working through some ideas 🙂 Stay tuned for more on those later!

And that’s all for now, I think! I’ll leave you with an awesome couple verses from one of my favorite psalms:

Psalm 37:23-24
If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm;
though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Your thoughts would look GOOD here :)
